Nova Light: fast execution makes preset hygiene critical
Nova Light connects Telegram automation, multiple Solana wallets, and a browser overlay. The workflow saves clicks by remembering authority—so wallet isolation, preset review, and active-task inventory have to replace those missing pauses.
The short answer
Nova Light is a Solana trading bot with Telegram buy and sell workflows, generated and imported wallets, multi-wallet execution, presets, automatic buys on pasted contract addresses, limit orders, launch sniping, fund dispersal, position views, and a Chrome extension called Nova Click. Nova Click connects the same Nova account and wallets to supported browser terminals.
Nova Click is another control surface, not a separate wallet
Nova Click connects a Nova Telegram account and its linked wallets to supported Solana platforms. The official overview currently names Axiom, Padre, GMGN, Photon, and BullX NEO. It says the extension fills trade parameters through Nova's backend and uses Nova's execution engine.
A trade can therefore begin on a third-party page, inherit Nova settings, pass through the extension, and execute from a Nova wallet. Verify the host page, extension source, active Nova account, wallet, region, preset, and final transaction as separate layers. Browser convenience does not convert the wallet into a normal locally confirmed extension-wallet transaction.
The current wallet guide conflicts with an older privacy statement
Nova's current wallet documentation says users can generate a wallet, view and back up its private key, or import an existing wallet using its private key. It also says Nova cannot recover a lost key. By contrast, the older privacy policy says users should not share private keys with the bot and that Nova does not ask for or store them. Those statements cannot fully describe the same current import workflow.
Treat that documentation mismatch as an unresolved disclosure gap, not proof of a specific storage design. Do not import a primary wallet. Generate a dedicated trading wallet, back it up offline, test recovery in a standard Solana wallet, keep only limited strategy funds inside Nova, and use the exact official bot link. Review bot and DM scamsbefore responding to any support or recovery message.
Every automatic condition has a detection and execution gap
Nova limit orders can trigger on price, market cap, or detected developer selling. Sniper tasks can watch a token symbol, exact mint, or creator, then submit a buy with chosen amount, network fee, tip, and slippage. Tasks can be started, stopped, or deleted individually or together.
A symbol is not unique, a creator address is not a safety review, and a developer label can be incomplete. A dev-sell condition or target value starts a transaction after observation; it does not reserve the trigger price or guarantee liquidity. Confirm expiry, current task state, selected wallet, and cancellation behavior, then verify the signature and final output onchain.
Processor, fee, tip, and slippage are separate decisions
Nova describes three processors: Jito, its custom staked node, or both. The docs say the node path has no MEV protection, while Jito or Both requires a tip. A Pro Account costs 0.002 SOL per wallet and is described as routing through multiple providers while automatically optimizing priority fees and bribes.
Multiple submission paths can improve inclusion odds without guaranteeing speed, exclusivity, or price. Nova's FAQ uses 40%–70% as a high-slippage example. That range authorizes an extreme adverse fill and should not become a default. Set the smallest tolerance justified by the pool, size, route, and maximum acceptable loss; record any priority fee and Jito tip separately.
Multi Trade and Disperse multiply operational state
Multi Trade can activate several wallets for simultaneous orders. Disperse can send SOL or tokens from one source to several recipients in equal or custom amounts. Those tools can isolate strategies, but they also multiply transactions, balances, fee settings, partial failures, recovery keys, and active positions.
Refresh wallet state before acting, confirm whether an amount is total or per wallet, preserve gas or rent headroom, and verify every destination. Dispersal is irreversible. Aggregate wallets under common control when measuring exposure, holder concentration, and P&L.
Cashback changes net cost only after it is credited
Nova's referral documentation identifies a 1% Nova platform fee. The cashback page advertises 20% of trading fees returned, claimable after the balance reaches 0.05 SOL. Record the 1% charge at execution and cashback only when available and claimed. Do not describe a pending rebate as a lower fill cost.
Add Solana base and priority fees, Jito tips or bribes, DEX and launchpad charges, token-extension costs, price impact, slippage, Pro Account creation, failed attempts, and every automated or multi-wallet leg. The live preview is the final source for the current product fee.
A safer evaluation workflow
- Enter through the official docs. Follow the published Telegram and extension links; reject copied bots, direct messages, and unofficial downloads.
- Create a Nova-only wallet. Export and recover it independently, fund it minimally, and never paste a primary key into the bot.
- Keep automations off. Review Auto Trade, sniper, limit, dev-sell, Multi Trade, and Nova Click settings before the first trade.
- Test one manual micro-trade. Match the mint, pool, processor, wallet, slippage, fee, tip, platform fee, signature, and settled delta.
- Test each trigger alone. Measure detection, submission, fill, cancellation, expiry, partial failure, and state after a manual trade.
- Close with an authority audit. Stop and delete unused tasks, review linked wallets and browser permissions, and sweep excess funds.
What belongs in the journal
Record the exact bot or Nova Click source, host terminal, wallet set, mint and pool, trigger, per-wallet and total size, processor, region, slippage, fee and tip, Pro Account state, platform fee, cashback status, task status, signatures, final balances, and timestamp. Note which documentation claim you relied on when the product's wallet disclosures differ.
